Hi Forrest (and Forrest’s parents!). I just read about you and your photography on KPLU’s Quirksee site and was incredibly moved by your story and your photography. Your work is beautiful and I will be making a purchase soon! (I just have to first decide which one(s) I want!) Thank you for so much for reminding me just how much beauty there is in the simplest of things, and for helping me to look for such beauty in my daily life. Bless you and your family. Keep up the fantastic work!!!

Hello, Forrest. I, too, am a photographer, and love looking at other photographers’ work. A friend of mine who lives near Seattle sent me a link to your work, and I was moved to read your story and see your images. What a beautiful spirit you have! I love the titles you give your work.

I recently did a story at the newspaper where I work on two friends who race together with Team Hoyt, an organization that gives everyone the chance to experience competition. One of the friends likes to run, the other friend likes to ride. The one who likes to ride is named Ashton and he has autism, too. Racing has changed Ashton, and his friend Marc.
If you are interested, here is the link to the multimedia piece I did on Ashton http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCxiA_uJBo4.

I can’t wait to buy one of your prints and hang it up with all the other work I admire. All the best to you, Forrest.

    Hi Forrest,

I read about you on a website called Reddit (http://www.reddit.com/r/photography/comments/1lt611/autistic_man_unable_to_speak_uses_photography_to/) and would like to say that your story has touched me very much. I am so happy that you have found a way to express yourself – and that you are making beautiful art in the process!

Best wishes from New Zealand (Lord of the Rings country)
    Dominik

    Dear Forrest,
I love your art! You are a gifted photographer. I was wondering if you have ever thought of printed your photographs on notecards? I for one would love to buy them. Or make a book of photographs to publish? I think it would be lovely to send a loved one a card with one of your photos on it. Please consider it!
    Sincerely,
    Amy Hammons

    Hi Forrest,
We’ have not yet met, but I know you thru your Dad. I have Aspergers Syndrome an I am in awe of how you are progressing. I share your links and some of your stories to people I know who have Autistic Children or siblings.

I used to be a photographer. Your photos are AMAZINGLY GOOD! And they keep getting better!

If you ever get to New Orleans, I’d love to meet you in person.

    Alobar
